You can't take care of your family if you are not fit and healthy so no matter how busy your schedule, always maintain a simple fitness routine. Here's a quick guide to creating an effective fitness regime that even the busiest women can adhere to.

  • Take 10 minutes, think about your daily schedule and figure out how you can fit in short workout into your day. For some, the best time is in the morning before everyone else is up while others will find late evening more convenient. Do whatever works for you!
  • Find a way to fit in at least 30 minutes exercise, three times a week. That works out to only one and a half hours per week but it will go a long way to improving your health and overall fitness level.
  • Consider the kind of exercise that you like to do and be honest with yourself! Don't force yourself to go running everyday just because you've heard it's good for you. you're more likely to stick to an exercise you enjoy so choose carefully!
  • Working out at a gym will certainly keep you fit but truth is dedicated hours at the gym is time-consuming. So, get the gym into your home instead. Consider purchasing treadmill or a stationary if you can spare the space. You'll save time and money in this long run.
  • Another way is to work out at home without major equipment. Research online or read fitness magazines for exercise idea which incorporate simple equipment like dumbbells or an exercise ball.
  • Find little ways to add extra movement into your day. Park a little farther at the shopping mall and walk. Use the stairs instead of the lift as often as possible. This way, you are able to incorporate some exercise into your day easily and effectively.
  • You don't have to overhaul your diet and cook time-consuming, healthy meals. Instead, make a simple changes on what you eat. Add less sugar into your coffee or tea and increase your daily intake of water and healthy food such as fruit or yogurt.
